Workspaces & teams

How your account is organized, who can access it, and how usage is billed.

Workspaces

A workspace is your account on BlacklistGuard — it's created when you sign up. Everything you do lives inside it: your sending domains, mailing lists, subscribers, campaigns, API keys, and reporting are all scoped to your workspace and isolated from every other customer.

Members & roles

You can add team members to your workspace so more than one person can manage your sending. Members can be granted admin rights — full access to manage the workspace's settings, domains, sending, and other members — or kept as regular members. Manage your team under Users in the console.

Each member signs in with their own account and credentials, so you never share a login.

Two-factor authentication

Protect accounts with two-factor authentication (2FA). Each member can enable it on their own account, choosing either:

  • an authenticator app (TOTP) — scan a QR code with Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, etc.; or
  • email codes — a one-time code sent to the account's email at sign-in.

When you turn on 2FA you're given a set of backup codes — save them somewhere safe so you can get in if you lose your device. Manage 2FA from your profile/security settings.

Billing & usage

BlacklistGuard plans include a monthly email allowance; you can also keep a prepaid balance that covers usage beyond your plan (such as overage emails and validations). The console shows your current plan, balance, and month-to-date usage, and lets you top up — manually or automatically when your balance drops below a threshold.

See pricing for plan allowances, and the billing API to read your balance, subscription, usage, and transaction history programmatically.
